How it Works?
The Mutelcor LoRa Multi-Function Device is a universal LoRa Node that can be connected to up to 3 different external switches. This is useful for cost reduction purposes by combining multiple sensors that would usually need separate devices, e.g. monitoring the status of a manhole and alerting on certain water levels at the same time. As soon as the device detects that the status of a switch has changed, it sends out a LoRa message to indicate the status change. The device also sends heartbeats at a regular interval, containing the current status of each connected switch. The device can be used e.g. with

The device needs a LoRa Gateway and LoRaWAN network. The number of required gateways depends on the Location and covered area over which these devices are installed.
Over 1000 devices in parallel can be easily connected with a single gateway.
A device can run for more than 5 years without the batteries being replaced.
